Self-Drive Rental Policy

To keep every booking clear and predictable, Dream In Goa follows a simple self-drive rental policy. Please review the booking duration, daily time cycle, fuel, deposit and vehicle-use rules before confirming.

1. Booking Duration & Daily Time Cycle

Every reservation requires a minimum booking of 2 days. One rental day runs from 9:00 AM to 9:00 AM the following day. A two-day rental collected at 9:00 AM, for example, is due back at 9:00 AM two days later. Requests for different handover times need advance confirmation and may change the final quotation.

2. Self-Drive Service Only

Dream In Goa is a self-drive car rental. We do not provide taxi, cab, chauffeur or sightseeing-driver services. The verified renter is responsible for driving the vehicle and following the agreed rental conditions.

3. Fuel Levels Policy

We believe in straightforward, simple rules:

• Like-for-Like Level: Every self-drive car is handed over with a baseline fuel indicator level. You are required to return the vehicle with that exact same level of fuel.
• We do not offer "free fuel" as rental rates are kept highly affordable.
• If returned with less fuel, local refilling costs plus a processing fee will be calculated and deducted from your security deposit. No refunds are provided for returning excess fuel.

2. Security Deposit Protection

A fully refundable security deposit is payable upon vehicle handover. This is fully returned after checking the vehicle for tolls, speed limits, or body scratches.

• The deposit amount is returned via UPI/Bank transfer within 24 hours of vehicle drop-off.
• In case of minor bumper scratches or traffic challans, corresponding repairs or penalty fees are deducted directly from the deposit, with receipts shared transparently.

3. Toll & Parking Coordination

All toll charges (such as those along major state borders or bridge crossings) and municipal parking tickets are payable exclusively by the renter. Please park only in designated, legal municipal spaces to prevent towing and fines.

4. 24/7 Breakdown & roadside Support

Your safety is our priority. In the rare event of mechanical failure, flat tyres, or ignition issues:

• Do not attempt local repairs yourself. Immediately contact our support desk at +91 9527790397.
• We coordinate roadside mechanics to your location within 1-2 hours depending on traffic.
• If the issue is major, we arrange a replacement self-drive vehicle subject to immediate calendar availability.

5. State Border Restrictions

All our self-drive fleet vehicles hold yellow-plated taxi licenses authorized strictly for operation within the State boundaries of Goa. Crossing state borders (into Maharashtra or Karnataka) without pre-planned state permit papers is illegal and strictly prohibited.

6. In-Person Handover Checklist

Before driving off from our Calangute office, we ask renters to complete a joint inspection:

• Take a full 360-degree video of the car's exterior body panels and dashboard instrument dials.
• Check that the spare tyre and toolkit are secure inside the boot cavity.
• Verify that the car keys are operating correctly.
